Chinese smart-home brand Mova has launched its LumeGret A4000 residential battery system in the UK at Solar & Storage Live UK 2026.
The LumeGret A2000 and A4000 represented Mova’s first steps in the residential energy storage earlier this year, expanding further when at Intersolar Europe in June, the company unveiled the LumeGret S4800, a larger system offering up to 25 kWh of storage, 4.8 kW PV input and integrated 6.6 kW EV charging.
A4000 specs
The A4000 uses LFP cells and starts with 4 kWh of storage, expandable to 20 kWh. It supports up to 3.6 kW of PV input, with four MPPTs rated at 2.8 kW, and incorporates a 2.5 kW bidirectional inverter. The system can charge from solar or the grid and provide up to 2.5 kW of off-grid output.
Mova is again emphasizing its LumeGret Orbit energy management software for the UK launch. The company says it uses electricity tariffs, weather forecasts, expected PV generation, battery state and household consumption to optimize charging and discharging.

The A4000 can also integrate with Mova’s FluxCharge EV charging system, while the company’s wider pitch extends energy management to other connected products, including its robotic lawn mowers.
The A4000 carries a 10-year warranty, with Mova claiming a 20-year design life and up to 10,000 cycles. It has an IP65 rating, though Mova recommends installing it under shelter.
IFA 2026
ESS News examined the LumeGret range at IFA 2026 in Berlin, where Mova staff said further energy products were planned along with the UK launch.
Mova’s energy push also comes with substantial consumer-electronics backing as part of the wider Dreame brand. In an effort to clarify operations, Dreame used IFA 2026 to formally introduce Dreame Group, bringing Dreame, Mova and NAVEE under a common technology group. Mova itself occupied more than 1,700 square meters at IFA and launched products across several smart-home categories.
At Solar & Storage Live UK, Mova is also announcing how its wider consumer ecosystem can work to its advantage. The company will demonstrate how the A4000 integrates with its own intelligent robotic lawn mower ecosystem, where owners can schedule the energy consumption of its robotic lawn mowing during periods of peak solar generation.
As a footenote, despite Mova’s international footprint, with a significant presence at events like CES 2026 earlier in the year, Mova representatives told ESS News at IFA that the LumeGret range is not currently being targeted at the US market.
