Energiabörze Power, part of Hungary’s Energiabörze group, said it has completed a 2.996 MW/4.771 MWh lithium energy storage project across two sites in Hungary.
The installation spans a 2 MW/2.4 MWh system at Almásfüzitő and a 0.996 MW/2.371 MWh system at Cibakháza.
The total project cost was HUF 1.274 billion ($4.08 million), of which HUF 217.7 million was provided as a non-repayable EU grant through the Recovery and Resilience Facility under the RRF-6.5.1-23 grid storage tender.
The systems are designed to support integration of weather-dependent renewable generation into Hungary’s national grid.
