Energy Wind Moldova Announces a 35 MW Investment in Kazakhstan, Expanding Its Presence in Central Asia’s Renewable Energy Market
CHIȘINĂU, Republic of Moldova — July 2, 2026 — Energy Wind Moldova has announced a 35 MW renewable energy investment in the Republic of Kazakhstan, marking another significant milestone in the company’s international expansion strategy and reinforcing its commitment to advancing the global transition toward clean and sustainable energy.
The project will contribute to Kazakhstan’s expanding renewable energy capacity and supports the country’s long-term strategy to increase the share of clean energy within its national electricity mix. With one of the highest wind energy potentials in Central Asia, Kazakhstan continues to attract substantial international investment and is emerging as a key destination for utility-scale renewable energy development.
The 35 MW project will incorporate advanced technologies and will be developed in accordance with internationally recognized engineering, operational, and environmental standards. The investment is expected to enhance renewable electricity generation, reduce carbon emissions, strengthen regional energy security, and support the country’s decarbonization objectives.
